This software programme is specifically developed to complement the Davis® Reading Strategies, including Davis Spell-Reading, Sweep-Sweep-Spell, and Davis Symbol Mastery, to rapidly build whole word visual recognition skills and comprehension.
The programme allows a person to do each of the Davis Reading Exercises on a computer with texts that are already included, or texts which are scanned in or composed by the user.
User preferences and options include: · pitch, speed and volume for a variety of voices · highlighting and reading word-by-word, a phrase (delimited by punctuation), or a paragraph. · creating a "word bank" of the user's photos depicting word meanings · font style and size, focus letter, word, or text colour, and background colour.
Package includes audio-visual tutorial and instructions detailing the Davis "Three Steps to Easier Reading" exercises.
