Davis Dyslexia Correction Facilitator, Jacqui Flisher, has
won the contract to provide specialist dyslexia support to student police
officers employed by Thames Valley Police (TVP). TVP is the largest
non-metropolitan police force in the
Jacqui is no stranger to TVP, as she has been working on
behalf of another company in a freelance capacity providing literacy, numeracy
and IT support for the last two years. During that time, it became clear to
Jacqui that most of the referrals were in fact students who displayed dyslexic
tendencies and needed specialist support.
With the original contract coming to an end, Thames Valley
Police recognised the excellent work that Jacqui has been doing with their
dyslexic officers and offered her a contract in her own right.
The new service is due to come into operation on the August
1st, as TVP are very keen to provide continuity of service in the
help that Jacqui offers.
