Upon completing this enrolment, you will be asked to confirm acceptance of the following policies:

Refund policy: For reasons of quality, Professional Davis training is  conducted in small groups, with a low student-to-Specialist ratio. It is  disruptive to other students enrolled in a training module when there  is a sudden last-minute withdrawal. Davis Facilitator training involves a  substantial diary commitment by the Supervising Specialists. For all of  the above reasons, the following cancellation and refund procedure  applies to the above Davis training modules. Field Assignments: Upon  enrolling, you are allocated a Supervisor-Specialist and are issued with  an Assignment booklet and (in the case of the Advanced Field  Assignments) a set of training videos. You may cancel your enrolment  within seven days of enrolling. If you have received any consultation  time from your Supervisor-Specialist, this will be deducted from the  amount refunded at a rate of £60 per hour (partial hours will count as  whole hours). Advanced Practice Meeting and Supervised Training Pods:  You may cancel your enrolment within seven days of enrolling, provided  that you notify us of this in writing and provided that the date of  cancellation also provides for at least one month’s notice prior to  commencement of the module in question. Should you be unable to attend  the training for reasons of a personal or family medical emergency, then  we will treat each case on an individual basis following presentation  of the necessary medical evidence. Whole or partial refunds will be  entirely at our discretion. In cases of genuine medical emergency, we  will endeavour to give you the opportunity to re-enrol on a later module  without incurring additional training fees (though this applies only to  modules organised by Davis Learning Foundation, not to any training  modules organised by other DDAs worldwide). Should you have any  questions about this policy, please feel free to contact Richard  Whitehead – email richard@davislearningfoundation.org.uk

Conditions of Training: The purpose of the Davis Facilitator Training  Programme is to enable participants to develop the level of competence  required by Davis Dyslexia Association International for licensing as a  Davis Dyslexia Programme Facilitator. The Competencies and Behavioural  Indicators required for success as a Davis Dyslexia Programme  Facilitator are listed in the Davis Facilitator Training Programme  Self-Evaluation and Development Goals booklet which was issued at the  Basic Practice Meeting. In the event that a participant encounters  significant difficulty developing competencies and behavioural  indicators to the necessary level, the Programme Specialists will  support the participant to the best of their ability. Participants are  expected to approach their training process in an open manner and to  engage constructively with Specialist advice given. Successful  completion of the training is not guaranteed, and training fees are not  subject to refund in the event that, despite our reasonable endeavours, a  participant has been unable to satisfy the criteria for licensing as a  Davis Dyslexia Programme Facilitator.
